Custom QR Code Generator — Privacy Policy

What the extension does with your data
The extension makes QR codes on your computer. It works on no website and adds nothing to any page. When you open it, it reads the address of the current tab (only after you click its icon or press Alt+Shift+Q), or the text you type, select or right-click.
It stores in chrome.storage.local on your computer only your style settings (colors, shapes, logo, file format and size), the last 10 codes you saved or copied (text, type, style, small preview), and a flag that the first-run hint was shown. The text of a right-click is held briefly in session storage until the popup opens. Nothing is sent to any server: there is no server of ours, no analytics in the extension, no third parties. Codes contain exactly the text you entered; there are no redirects or short links.
Files you save, the copied image and the ZIP from "Many codes from a table" stay on your computer. Tables you open are read in the browser and are not uploaded.
The only outside page the extension opens, and only when you click it, is the Google Place ID Finder link in the "Google review" form.
What we never do
- We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties.
- We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose.

Website analytics
The welcome and goodbye pages on this website use Google Analytics to count installs and removals. The extension itself contains no analytics code.
