ChatGPT Print and Save — Privacy Policy

What the extension does with your data
The extension reads the ChatGPT chat you have open on chatgpt.com, only inside your browser and only when you use it (the button in the page header or the toolbar popup). The chat is turned into a file or into clipboard content on your computer. Nothing is sent to any server: not to us, not to analytics, not to anyone else. The only requests the extension makes go to chatgpt.com itself, the site where the chat is open: to read the chat, the list of your chats and your images.
When you choose Notion, the content is placed on your clipboard and Notion opens in a new tab; it reaches Notion only when you paste it yourself. When you choose Google Docs, the extension opens a new document in your own Google account and pastes the chat into it. That is the only thing it does on docs.google.com: it does not read your other documents and sends nothing anywhere else.
The only thing the extension stores is your layout settings (template, theme, paper size, font, font size, contents on or off and the last batch format) in chrome.storage.local on your computer. The content of your chats is never stored: it is read, turned into a document, handed to you and discarded.
What we never do
- We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties.
- We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose.
- We do not use your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
Website analytics
The welcome and goodbye pages on this website use Google Analytics to count installs and removals. The extension itself contains no analytics code.
